Name: Heather Mrowiec
Skated since: 2002
Competition Level: Adult Bronze
Highest Tests Passed: Moves: Adult Gold. Freeskate: Adult Bronze
Coaches: Jill Kinsley, Linda Stabler, Ryan O'Meara, & Grant
Rorvick (it takes a village!)
Major Accomplishments: My major accomplishments are yet to come!
I'm planning on passing my Gold Moves, medalling at Adult Nationals, and landing my Axel
this year. But of what I've done so far, I'd have to say medalling
in my Artistic program at Adult Nationals in 2006, and skating a clean (almost!)
Silver freeskate program at Cactus Classic last year and not throwing up at the
end. (Ed. note - Gold moves passed 2/3/08 - 1 down, 2 to go!)
Family: My mom, brother and nephew live in Seattle.
Occupation: Geeky computer stuff.
Quote: “Taking up skating as an adult is certainly the silliest
thing I've ever done, but that's OK - that's what keeps me from getting old.”
