How Much Does It Cost?

We have a variety of membership options for you to choose from, depending on your situation. Skaters who have never joined a U.S. Figure Skating Club before can try us out for a year with an Introductory Membership - great from skaters transitioning from Basic Skills. We also have Collegiate memberships, discounts for second (and third) family members, and options for Special Skaters as well. We  alsooffer a volunteer credit to each family that volunteers during the membership year. Please see our Membership Description and Benefits for description of each membership type and the associated fees.

Why Do I Need to Join A Club?

The Club is here to help your skater! In order to test or compete beyond the Basic Skills level, all skaters are required to be a member of U.S. Figure Skating, usually through a Club like Coyotes Skating Club of Arizona. We also strive to proivde a social aspect to what is generally an individual sport. By joining our Club, you receive access to test sessions held at the Ice Den, admission to Club ice events like the Halloween Skate, Christmas Party, and exhibitions or critiques throughout the year. Our Competitive Team (Juvenile skaters and higher) earn team jackets when attending Regionals or the Skate SWP Non-Qualifying Championships held in conjuction with Regionals, gifts, and funding if they advance throughout the qualifying structure. Younger skaters are recognized throughout the year as well at send-offs, the banquet, and by recognizing their accomplishments and participation in Skate SWP.

What If I Join Late?

Our membership year is dictated by U.S. Figure Skating, and runs July 1 through June 30. Unfortunately, we are unable to pro-rate memberships.

Does a Parent Really Have To Join?

Yes. For the safety of our skaters, we do require that a parent or guardian join the club along with any member under the age of 18. This provides the family an opportunity to be involved with their children's skating, the Club, and know what issue affect them.
