2011 Junior Nationals Send-off Celebration December 10th

Valley Skater Advances to Junior Nationals

Junior Nationals Exhibition December 5th

2011 Junior Championships, hosted in Salt Lake City, UT from December 14 - 18. The exhibitions are slated to start
at 9:15 AM, immediately following the test session.
Aaron and Cohen Chosen to Compete at Golden Spin of Zagreb
Fresh off of a fantastic 1st place finish at the
2011 Midwestern Sectionals, CSCA member Molly Aaron and partner Daniyel Cohen (Broadmoor SC)
have been assigned to compete at Golden Spin of Zagreb.
The international Senior B event will be held December 9 - 11 in Zagreb, Croatia. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday and
the team's schedule, there will be no Send-off celebration.

next month in Croatia!
RISE Ticket Sales Start November 15
Public ticket sales begin Monday, November 15 for RISE, a special one-night-only event
developed by the U.S. Figure Skating Association and hosted by
NCM Fathom. RISE celebrates
American figure skating while commemorating the 50th anniversary and legacy of
the 1961 U.S. World Team tragedy. The event, originating from the Best Buy
Theater in New York City's Times Square, will be transmitted live on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011
to more than 500 movie theaters in all 50 states. The broadcast times are listed below:

The February 17, 2011 event will include uniquely choreographed figure skating performances,

Sectionals and Ice Challenge Update
CSCA skaters had a strong presence at Sectionals and Ice Challenge this year!
Congratulations to Molly Aaron (with partner Daniyel Cohen) and sister Madeline
Aaron (with partner Max Settlage) for achieving
1st place finishes in Senior and Novice Pairs (respectively)!
Cudos also to Caitlin Fields (with partner Jason Pacini) for their 2nd place
finish in Novice Pairs and to Morgan Agster and Adam Civiello for their 5th
place finish in Junior Pairs.
Meanwhile, half a world away, Douglas Razzano confidently nailed a 2nd place
finish at Ice Challenge 2010 and Ice Den training mates Tiffany Vise and Don
Baldwin achieved a 2nd place finish in Senior Pairs. Click the following links

Basha's Shop & Give Day, November 14
The CSCA Junior Board is hosting an information table on Sunday, November 14th
at the Basha's on Granite Reef and McDonald from noon to 4:00 PM to promote the
CSCA Shop & Give program. Shoppers can support CSCA each time they purchase
groceries by registering their Basha's Thank You cards with the Shop & Give
program. Supporters can also enroll a card by clicking
here and entering
CSCA Authorization code 28994. Bashas will donate 1% of sales to CSCA
from all registered Thank You cards through April 30, 2011.

Let's celebrate with our CSCA skaters as they get ready to compete in November!

Douglas Razzano Returns to Graz, Austria for IceChallenge 2010
Best Wishes and Congratulations to Douglas Razzano for being selected to
represent
Team USA for a
2nd straight year at
IceChallenge 2010! Douglas will join fellow Team USA members Lindsey Davis,
Themi Leftheris (SR Pairs), Tiffany Vise and Don Baldwin (SR Pairs) to compete
at the event, being held November 9 - 14 in Graz, Austria. Good Luck Douglas!
Max Aaron Advances to JGP Final
Congratulations to former CSCA Member Max Aaron for his continuing achievement
in skating! Max was selected to compete at the Junior Grand Prix Final following
his 3rd place finish at
JGP France and 2nd
place finish at
JGP Japan. These
exceptional placements have him ranked
6th in Junior Men in the current ISU International standings. The Junior
Grand Prix Final event is being held December 9 - 12 in Beijing, China. Visit

2011 Regionals Update
Our 2011 Regionals Team members turned in several strong performances this year!
Special Kudos to Thomas Rapp and Matthew Youngs
for earning spots at the
2011 US Junior Championships with their 5th and 6th place Juvenile Freeskate
performances at SWP Regionals! Congratulations as well to Camden
Pulkinen
for earning a 1st alternate position to Junior Nationals with his 7th place
finish in the SWP Juvenile event.

Club members Morgan Agster and Adam Civiello placed 10th out of 12 teams in the
pairs events at the Junior Grand Prix Pokal der Blauen Schwerter 2010 in
Dresden, Germany October 6 - 9. They skated well and were amongst some of the

Agster and Civiello Chosen to
Compete in Junior Grand Prix Event
CSCA members Morgan Agster and Adam Civiello have been chosen to represent
Team USA
in the upcoming ISU Junior Grand Prix event being held in Dresden, Germany on
October 6-9, 2010. Morgan and Adam have been skating together for the past 3
years and moved up to the Junior level this year. Read more about their

Agster and Civiello Compete at the USFS
Developmental
International Program Event
CSCA members and pair team Morgan Agster and Adam Civiello were among 40 top
up-and-coming athletes who participated this past weekend in the Developmental
International Program in conjunction with 2010 Skate San Francisco. The program
is offered to all Novice competitors from the 2010 AT&T U.S. Figure
Skating Championships as well as the top 5 Intermediate competitors from the
2010 U.S. Figure Skating Junior Championships. Congratulations to Morgan and

Junior Board Meeting June 26th

Directors. If you are interested in serving our

considered for the ballot. A list of interested individuals will be submitted to
the nominating committee for review. Selected candidates will be contacted in
March by the committee, and will then be placed on the the ballot for the
election to be held in May.

appearance at the
