Agster and Civiello Compete at the USFS Developmental International Program
Event
CSCA members and pair team Morgan Agster and Adam Civiello were among
40 top up-and-coming athletes who participated this past weekend in the Developmental
International Program in conjunction with 2010 Skate San Francisco. The program is
offered to all Novice competitors from the 2010 AT&T U.S. Figure Skating Championships
as well as the top 5 Intermediate competitors from the 2010 U.S. Figure Skating Junior
Championships.
Congratulations to Morgan and Adam for achieving this distinction! For more information

Junior Board Meeting on September 19

Novice International competition and placed 6th in the Novice National competition.

Junior Board Meeting June 26th
Please join the Junior Board for a meeting, Saturday, June 26th, from 1pm-3pm in the Discovery
room at the Ice Den. All club members ages 10 through high school senior are encouraged and welcome
to attend. The Junior Board will be preparing for activities and events surrounding the upcoming
Cactus Classic competition.
The Junior Board is in need of stuffed animals! Please consider donating any new or gently loved
stuffed animals to assist with our fundraising efforts. Donations may be dropped off at the rink
with any Junior Board officer, or contact the Jr. Board advisor Patti McNeill
to coordinate a drop off.
Ice Ensemble Exhibition & Sendoff
Please join our Coyotes Ice Ensemble team on Saturday, June 19th, at 9:30 AM
at the Ice Den as they perform an exhibition of their competition programs
before leaving for the 2010 National/International Theatre on Ice competition
in Troy, OH on June 25-26. A send-off reception will follow in the Discovery Room.

Junior Board to Meet on May 15
Please join the Jr. Board on Saturday, May 15
from noon to 2 PM in the Ice Den NHL locker room to help assemble center pieces
for the Club Banquet. Donations of large sized glass flower vase are needed. We
will also be collecting new and gently loved stuffed animals for future fundraisers.
If you are unable to attend but would like to donate vases or stuffed animals, please
contact Patti McNeill to make arrangements.

CSCA Junior Board Elections
The Junior Board is preparing for its annual
election of officers. Interested CSCA Club
members age 10 through high school seniors need to attend the next Junior Board
meeting on April 3 to be considered for the ballot. This is a great opportunity
to earn community service hours!
U.S. Figure Skating Governing Council
Annual Meeting to be held April 29 - May 2 in Costa Mesa,
CA. USFS members are welcome as observers, but must be registered as a guest through
their club. Please contact Terry Fields, tmsfields@cox.net,
if you plan to attend.

Coyotes Skating Club Board Elections
The CSCA Board is currently looking for candidates
to run for the Board of Directors. If you are interested
in serving our skating community and enjoy working with others, please contact Terry
Fields, tmsfields@cox.net, to be
considered for
the ballot. A list of interested individuals will be submitted to the nominating
committee for review. Selected candidates will be contacted in March by the committee,
and will then be placed on the the ballot for the election to be held in May.

of March 1. The team is currently gathering inventory. It's a great time to clear

Dorothy Hamill to Visit Ice Den
Olympic gold medalist and figure skating superstar
Dorothy Hamill will make a public appearance at the
Ice Den
on Friday, Feb 12, from 6:30 - 8:00pm.
Other past skating Olympians will be in attendance, including Doug Ladret, Canadian Figure
Skater from the 1988 and 1992 Games; Mike DeAngelis, Italian Hockey Team from the
1992, 1994 and 1998 Games; and Ryan O’Meara, U.S. Figure Skater from the 2006 Games.
A figure skating exhibition, featuring the Coyotes Spirit Synchronized
Skating Team in an Opening Flag Ceremony followed by competitors from the
2010 U.S. Figure Skating
